College of Economics and Management talked cooperation over with ŠKODA AUTO University

      On June 12-13, 2018, the College of Economics and Management of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA) and ŠKODA AUTO University negotiated in Boreslav, Czech Republic. Pavel Mertlík, President of ŠKODA AUTO University, Peter Šulc, Vice President, David Holman, Head of Logistics/Quality/Automation Technology, Deng Jing, Associate Dean of College of Economics and Management of NUAA, Wang Wei, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Research Institute, Zhou Zhipeng, an assistant to the dean of the College of Economics and Management, Jin Zhilin, Deputy Head of the Department of Vehicle Engineering, and Tian Lifeng, a member of the International Cooperation Department, attended the meeting.
 

      On behalf of ŠKODA AUTO University, President Pavel Mertlík welcomed Vice President Deng Jing and his delegation to introduce the history of ŠKODA AUTO University and related majors, including marketing, financial management, operations/logistics/quality management, and human resources management. ŠKODA AUTO University is a university founded by Skoda Auto. It became a member of Erasmus+Programme of the European Union in 2005 and is one of the Czech universities with international strength. The ŠKODA AUTO University Diploma has international “transparency” and fair academic and professional accreditation.

     Vice President Deng Jing introduced the basic situation, dominant disciplines and international cooperation of the College of Economics and Management of NUAA. He proposed that ŠKODA AUTO University can strengthen cooperation with NUAA through exchange of students, exchange of teachers, and cooperation in scientific research. Vice President Deng Jing invited Pavel Mertlík and Vice President Peter Šulc to visit the College of Economics and Management of NUAA as soon as possible so that the two sides can cooperate better.     
      Through this negotiation, both parties expressed high expectations for future cooperation, and conducted preliminary discussions on some of the details of cooperation, and agreed to continue to promote specific cooperation matters.
